You might still have questions about important things - or want to verify information - that's fine - under these FAQ's we've posted links to articles on third party trusted media sources, like The Guardian, New York Times and the Financial Times.
How does it work?

They may just be ripping us off?
In the history of internet scams, has anyone ever pretended to make a documentary, by shooting a really cool documentary trailer.. been covered in The Guardian (twice - click links below), New York Times and Financial Times – all with the dastardly design of making off with £3??? Unlikely.. but not to say impossible..
The other way of doing this is looking at our Optimistic Foundation CIC – log into UK Companies House and you will see that we are registered properly, submit our accounts and pay taxes. We’re legit.
What if the tec is hard to navigate
It's honestly not - once you've filled out the form, you'll get an automatic email giving you a log in to an online portal. You can stream the film there immediately.
Are you open to small community screenings?
Yes we certainly are – and we will also do Q&A’s through zoom – please email Wayne@dartmouthfilms.com for details on the prices associated with this.
This is a journey of just one family and community blowing up £1.2m of high interest debt– it shows that we can get together and stick it to the man.
And if we all take steps towards making our world a bit fairer, we can totally transform the situation.
Amid a time of bleakness and ongoing difficulties, why not bring a little hope into your living room?
In 2017 Positive Money did a survey and found that 85% of UK politicians didn’t understand how money is created – and therefore didn’t understand the true architecture of power not just in the UK but across the world.
In this film, you’ll understand this and have your eyes opened to what’s really driving our economy and political landscape.
You will see how debts are bought and sold for a fraction of their face value and this will empower you to be able to speak with and negotiate with creditors in a totally new way.
How does it work?
Essentially the POWER project uses the same mechanism as Bank Job. We give ourselves the power of a central bank (ie the bank that is owned by the people of the UK). Instead of printing money to buy up dodgy commercial assets or to prop up private banks (which is what has been happening), we use our money to help solve the big crises of our times. Helping people with fuel bills, and to live with dignity.
We use the proceeds to build our POWER STATION across the roofs of all the houses on Lynmouth Road. Not because we have a special desire to get our own house in order, but because it's a starting point. We argue that this mico-cosmic event is what needs to be happening right the way across Britain and Europe - not to mention everywhere. If we, as citizens take action and demand that the government listen then it will be faced with no choice. The government should belong to its citizens. Part of changing the systems in which we live is about educating ourselves. After all, until we are able to locate the problems in the system, and suggest very clear alternatives, no change whatsoever is possible.
Our job is to dream of a story that's not just desirable, but which is also doable. This is what we have done with the POWER STATION. If you decide to take us up on our offer of a free stream, or indeed any of the offers above, you will see a presentation made by lead artist Hilary Powell about POWER in full.
Many thanks for your time reading - and wishing you all the very best
