The film has been described as "amazing" by Charlie Phillips, the head of documentary at The Guardian. Charlie writes:
"Ah I love this film! So inspiring!
And US indie producer Neal Dodson - behind the 2011 indie smash about the financial crisis "Margin Call" said:
'I just finished watching your film simply loved it. It's in amazing shape. Off the cuff reactions -- it's smart, it's gonzo, it's genuinely and humbly told, it's funny, it's got a purpose without feeling preachy, it doesn't propose to know all the answers but you ask great questions and you do something anyway. I genuinely love it."

SOME REACTIONS TO THE FILM SO FAR....
THINGS WE LEARNED THROUGH THE FILM
- How money is created – (this happens every time as loan is made)
- How debts are bought and sold for a fraction of their face value – and how we hacked into the system – and bought up £1.2m for less than £20k
- How austerity policies are justified as necessary – but actually the truth behind how the Bank of England creates billions of pounds worth of money out of thin air.. and gives it to the High Street Banks..
- So while the people bail out the banks - we end up getting our services cut and have to borrow to make ends meet..
- Buying a ticket gives you 48 hours to watch the film from 7pm Friday 26 Feb 2021. For the more impatient among you - you can trigger a stream immediately too. So you get two viewings.
- We learned that most of the morals around money and debt were woefully out of date
- We were also able to renegotiate with creditors when they rang us up – we could ask how much they paid for our debts – and we recognised that some of our old student debts had been sold at discount – this is an instrument of power..
- We were also able to take control of what is truly important – the relationships between ourselves and our communities.
- Finally – and most importantly – we learned about who the truly powerful are – the people, that’s us – but only when we come together.
